Huntington Sesquicentennial The purpose of the City Engineer's Office is to combine the efforts of all City departments.  The Engineers Office also handles all the water, sewer and, right of way cut permits.  The City Engineer also approves all building construction drawings before they are approved by the Planning Commission and the City Council.
